Your baby's first bath can be both special and a little exciting. There are some basic points you should pay attention to to make this experience safe and comfortable.
Preparation Stages
- Room temperature should be 24–26°C
- Warm, clean water; a small, non-slippery tub is preferred
- Cotton towel, soft sponge and baby soap should be ready.
Things to Consider During Bathing
- Always support the baby's head and neck
- The area around the eyes, ears and nose should be cleaned gently.
- Bath time should be kept short (5–10 minutes is sufficient)
